Judges comment

‘Being selected as runner-up in the Peter Walker Award is a great way to finish university and start my career. As well as attracting attention to my furniture at new designers, the award has helped to affirm the direction that I have chosen and given me the confidence to pursue a career as a designer. I am now considering how to get my furniture into production, and setting up on my own. I was also fortunate to win a stand at 100% Design, so the award will definitely help towards producing more prototypes for this and extending the range of furniture.
